Sacred Valley of the Incas is located on the route to Machupicchu and is named with this name because of its great importance in Inca Agriculture. For the fertility of their land that was very well used by the inhabitants of the area. Sacred Valley shows the fertility of the Pachamama (mother earth) beautiful landscape bathed by the Vilcanota River or also known as the Urubamba River.
That by its orientation and importance symbolizes the Milky Way in the Andean culture, we will see impressive cultivation terraces and how the ancient inhabitants of the Sacred Valley take advantage of the land.
Pick up from the hotel at 7:30 in the morning and we will depart in our tourist transport to the first archaeological site of Pisac on the way we will make technical stops to appreciate the beauty of the valley in very impressive viewpoints as well as visit the textile center of ( AWANA KANCHA) an unmissable place where we will appreciate the elaboration of the Inca textiles and observe the South American camelids.
Arriving in Pisac we will have a guided tour of the archaeological center and then down to the local Pisac market where we can appreciate the living custom of our ancestors.
We will continue to the province of Urubamba making a stop for our lunch in a restaurant with local food and always accompanied by the Vilcanota River.
After lunch and a short rest we continue to Ollantaytambo the Inca living city where we can appreciate the Inca streets in their original condition as well as the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo in a guided tour then we go to Chinchero archaeological center where we can observe the colonial temple and the Inca constructions and to return to the city of Cusco to our hotel.
