TRIP DETAILS

Day 1: Cusco to Abra Malaga - Mountain Biking - Rafting - Family Home

We'll start our journey by picking you up at 6 am from your Cusco hotel in a private transport. After a technical stop for breakfast and basic needs in Ollantaytambo, we'll continue to Abra Malaga where we'll start our mountain biking adventure. With a small practice and bike test at over 4,000 meters above sea level, we'll then descend on our bikes to HuamanMarka, a small Inca city located 1,800 meters above sea level. After a guided tour, we'll continue in our private transport to Santa Maria, where we'll stay in a welcoming family home with plantations of coffee, coca leaf, bananas, and citrus. You'll enjoy a delicious local lunch here before we head to the Vilcanota River for our exciting white water rafting adventure in the Urubamba River. After the rafting adventure, we'll share with the family, learn about the preparation of coffee, and taste fresh fruits from the plantations according to the season. We'll have dinner at the family home before ending our first day.

Day 2: Santa Maria to Santa Teresa - Hot Springs - Aguas Calientes

After breakfast with the family, we'll head to Santa Teresa in a local transport to enjoy the relaxing hot springs of Cocalmayo for two hours. Then, we'll move to the zipline base of operations where we'll have a safety talk and receive all the necessary equipment to enjoy 4 mountain-to-mountain zipline adventures over a valley with a height of 250 meters and distances of about 600 meters to one kilometer, including a suspension bridge that will create unforgettable memories. Our next stop will be the San Gabriel restaurant, where we'll have a delicious local lunch while enjoying a stunning view of Machu Picchu. We'll continue to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo, where we'll check in at the hotel and enjoy dinner at the Full House Restaurant. (best Restaurant in Machu Picchu) We'll spend the night here before heading to Machu Picchu the next day.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu - Train - Ollantaytambo - Cusco

We'll start our day early by leaving the hotel and heading to Machu Picchu. The hike up takes approximately 1.5 hours (we recommend taking the bus for those who prefer not to hike). Once we arrive at the gate of Machu Picchu, we'll check in with our passport and enter around 6 am to enjoy the stunning sunrise and take photos at the Postcard photo area (spaces are limited, so book in advance). After capturing breathtaking photos, we'll start our guided tour of the Inca city of Machu Picchu, which lasts about 2 hours. We'll then leave the city of Machu Picchu and hike down to Aguas Calientes, where we'll have a farewell lunch before catching the train to Ollantaytambo and then the bus back to Cusco, ending our incredible Inca Jungle trek.
